Module 5 - Discussion: Ethics, Governance & Client Trust

As AI becomes more integrated into our workflows, it also raises important questions around ethics, governance, intellectual property, and client data.

Think about your own work and the types of projects or clients you support.

If you were using AI to help generate content, insights, or deliverables for a client, what safeguards would you put in place to ensure you are protecting client data and being transparent about how AI is being used?

In your response, consider things like:

  • protecting sensitive information

  • intellectual property ownership

  • disclosure or transparency with clients

  • internal review or QA processes

Share one or two practices you think are important when using AI responsibly in professional work.

Once you’ve posted, take a moment to respond to at least one peer and share your thoughts on their approach.

When using AI, I think most importantly I will be transparent that AI may be used during the ideation or drafting phase, but that all work is directed, curated, and finalized by me.

I agree @kayteem
I was also very interested in the “who owns what” aspect of AI outputs.
